2009 : APARTMENT J, Ribnjak, Zagreb

This great apartment was created for an artist, and family, whose colorful works are design elements that bring vitality to the space. The architecture philosophy springs from perception of minimalism as a series of concepts that value simplicity, austerity, and elegance, rather than a passing aesthetic trend. The white kitchen, like the passageway toward the living room with granite countertop extends beyond the kitchen module to serve as a bar, became the center of attention because it act as an attractive backdrop for paintings and other objects; on one side are columns and on the other side are base elements of kitchen with a long painting on the wall instead suspended elements. Furthermore, daylight was required to penetrate all the areas in the loft. To achieve this, no single wall reaches the ceiling, and a select few are surrounded by glass.
